An Unofficial “Official” Introduction

Hello People of the Interwebs!

Well, this is my first blog post? So let’s start with a little bit of an introduction!

A little about me:

In T-minus 3 1/2 years, I’ll be living glamorously in a shoe box right in the heart of New York City. Probably dreaming about the black Range Rover and classic Christian Louboutins that are no where near my reach, but hey, I guess I’m a glass half full kind of girl.

Rewind to present day. I’m a sophomore biotechnology major at a small college that cares more about what your top five strengths are than anything else in the world (for all of those wondering mine are futuristic, harmony, input, belief, and consistency probably not in that order). “Science?” you might ask? Yeah, I know. It doesn’t make any sense to me either. But let me put it frankly, once you’ve suffered through an entire year of organic chemistry there’s no going back.

I spent approximately 6 1/2 years dedicated to a boyband who probably will never know I exist and there isn’t one ounce of my body that regrets it. I can’t even remember what it was like to live before One Direction came into my life. Can we all just appreciate their prime time though? Like 1D Day and Harry spitting water out of his mouth into the air at concerts prime? Ugh. What I wouldn’t do to go back.

At home I have a pretty amazing support system, not to mention a pretty adorable golden retriever who may, or may not, have his own Instagram (@keepingupwithcopper, sorry, I had to).

Also, shout out to all my iced coffee lovers out there. Hook me up to an iced mocha IV and I’d be a happy little clam for the rest of eternity.

But enough about me, you’ll learn so much more as time goes on so let’s talk…

A little about this blog:

I really love fashion and trends and most importantly, the City. So I mostly intend for this to be a fashion/lifestyle outlet. A sprinkle of clothing haul here, a dash of OOTD there, and a big splash of creativity and love everywhere. Ugh, sorry, that was probably cheesy, but forreal let’s all just be interweb friends forever, okay? Okay.

So now that that’s established, I’m so excited to share a slice of my life with you all! This is something I have wanted to do for a long time and I am beyond thrilled to have taken a total leap of faith into it.

 

I look forward to my next actual post, but for now, in honor of the first day of spring, enjoy some pictures of me in front of my favorite wall Downtown soaking up nicer weather than most people are probably experiencing now.
