July ’17 Sephora Play Unboxing

Happy Friday Everyone!

I wanted to share my Sephora Play box with you all again this month as personally, I think this one might be one of the best boxes I’ve gotten yet! So since I went into more detail just about what the box was and what kind of stuff comes inside it, I’m going to skip right to the good stuff..  let’s get to it!

This month’s theme is ‘Beauty Staycation’ and as usual, came with the classic 50 free beauty insider points.

But as for the products? The first thing I pulled out was It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara.

So honestly, I’m always pretty pumped when I get mascara samples in my boxes because I don’t normally wear a lot of mascara so it gives me the opportunity to try different brands really easily.

But all of that aside, I was even more excited for this as I’ve never tried anything from this brand and I’ve only ever heard good things about it.

This mascara claims to lengthen lashes, while giving volume and lift with just one coat. Is this true? I’m not sure yet, but I’m still thrilled to see for myself how this works for me!

Next up was bareMinerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolor in the shade Swag.

Now I’m not usually a fan of nude lip shades. If I’m going to wear lipstick, it’s going to be a statement lip, but I was actually really excited to see this in the box!

Although the shade is a nude for sure, to me, it seems like it has that little something special. It’s a mauve-y, pink color and I can see it looking great on lots of skin colors and tones.

And, as a matte liquid lipstick lover, I was also excited to see this in the box. Nothing beats a matte lip in my book and this little cutie is very welcome into my collection (:

Third out of the box was Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray.

Now if anyone remembers, we received a product from this brand last month that I was truly interested in but never used just because it seemed to me like a styling product for your hair (which I never use), but THIS I love!

I love things that could make my hair either 1. smell better, 2. feel softer, or 3. both.

This I have used already and I must say I love the smell of it and I do think that it made my hair feel softer, without it being weighed down or feeling greasy. So that’s an A+ in my book if you ask me!

Also, all of the ingredients are plant-based which makes it a real contender to very soon become one of my favorite brands!

Next up is Milk Makeup Cooling Water!

So this is very interesting to me. The product says cooling WATER but it comes in a stick.. I was like what the heck?! But it’s really more like a gel that you can use if you’re in need of a quick boost of moisture or right before applying makeup.

Now I don’t think this is supposed to be a primer, just kind of a treat? Like, if you want your skin to feel happy, pop this into the fridge and then swipe it all over to feel cooled and refreshed during the summer months.

This is totally unnecessary but as it’s another brand I’ve never really tried before and I looooove moisturizers, I’m still so excited to try this out and see what it does for my skin!

And now, last, but definitely NOT least is Boscia’s Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment.

OMG is all I can say about this one. I’m literally thrilled about it!

First things first, I know that this is supposed to be a sample size but honestly, the amount of product you’re receiving is insane.

Second of all, I loooove masks so of course I was beyond excited to get this. Especially because Boscia is, say it with me now, A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

But anyways, so what does it do and what even is it? Basically, it’s a swirled black and white mask with charcoal to balance oil, fight impurities, and minimizes pores.

Despite loving the swirls and how it looks, to use you basically mix the two and apply a grey layer to the face, wait 15-20 minutes and wash it off with warm water.

SO pumped about this.. if you couldn’t tell..

And then this month’s perfume sample was Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine.

It’s described as fresh with notes of blood and bitter orange as well as geranium, jasmine, sandalwood, and amber woods.

Personally, I wasn’t a fan of this but that’s because I lean towards musky scents always, so I don’t really have much to say about this one but that it came with a cute postcard?

So all in all? The products speak for themselves, this truly was a box-come-true for me! I love getting these every month and as you can see, every one is totally different. It’s the best.. even Golden Retriever Approved!
