Happy Tuesday Everyone!
If it isn’t clear (which it probably isn’t), I am a college student and unfortunately it’s just about that time to be going back for the year.
This year though, instead of a dorm, I’ll be moving into an apartment! So instead of giving you guys my apartment essentials, I thought I would bring you a post on ‘unexpected’ apartment essentials. So basically this is all of the things I never would have dreamed of needing, and hopefully for those of you also moving into an apartment for the first time, it may inspire and remind you that having a butter dish is probably pretty important.
Maybe some of this is obvious to all y’all, but my mind was blown when I realized I would need to buy a full sized trash can for the very first time. Like who would have even thought?? I also included some things such as a laundry basket with wheels which makes lugging weeks worth of clothes to the washers 10x easier (trust me, this one was a game changer for me), and packing a lunchbox because now that you might not be on a traditional meal plan, you never know when you’re going to want to eat and where!
Otherwise, I would love to for once keep this post short and to the point! Is there anything I’m missing? What are some of your unexpected essentials this back to school season? And if you want a longer post explaining why I think things like a key holder (right at the door, because I lose literally everything in 0.5 seconds) is necessary, let me know!
