Happy Wednesday Everyone!
This week on the blog, I’m tickled pink to be telling y’all that in t-minus 4 days I’ll be on my way to one of my all time favorite places: Disney World. And with that, I’m giving you all the 411 on some of the cutest things I found to wear on your next trip to the parks (or on the daily if you’re a die-hard Disney fan)!
So let’s get right into it!
Up first I want to show off some of the shirts that I just fell in love with! Some of which I actually purchased, and others that I just admired and will keep on a watch list for the next trip!
1. Voguing with Villains
As soon as I saw this, I practically fell over. I immediately thought it was so chic and I knew that this was one I would have to have! I saw other shirts kind of similar with princesses but I just thought the villains added something a little extra and edgy to it. Like obviously the Disney princess girl squad is goals for life, but I guess I just resonated with these rule breaking, powerful women more!
It comes in both white and grey and all of the shops/links will be listed below!
2. Agrabah Always
This is another one that I knew I just needed in my life. There was something unique about this that I knew not everyone would be wearing. And not only that, but it’s beyond adorable too! Not to mention this one comes in purple and blue, and although black is my power color, nothing can replace the special place purple has in my heart.
3. Hakuna Matata
Okay so yes, this shirt is super simple but isn’t that kind of the point of hakuna matata? No worries? Keep it simple? That’s the vibe I’m picking up from it anyways. I just loved that this came in a heathered green! I feel like this would be the cutest to wear for a day in Animal Kingdom and it’s a color that (for me at least) would spice up the rest of my wardrobe. I feel like it can be dressed up or down with plaids and dark denim and all in all is just very cute, classic, and a staple for all of us Disney lovers (:
4. Destination: Mickey Mouse
I found this one scrolling through Instagram one day and again just fell in love. I’d not seen a shirt similar to this and knew that it was one I really wanted to sport around the parks. I mean yes, Florida is known for lots of good stuff but if I’m being frank with you all? If I’m in the state, I’m there for the Mouse and I can’t wait to be Soarin’ through Epcot smelling the oranges with this one on!
5. Mommy and Me Moments
My mom actually found this one and believe it or not I was really into it. I’m not normally the type to be into matching t-shirts but something has inspired me for this upcoming vacation, what can I say. Not only this, but we’re actually going on Mother’s Day and we’ll be sporting matching tops for the occasion.
I think the design is so special as well. I’ve only ever gone to Disney with my mom and she manages to make every single time memorable and is most of the reason I’ve fallen so in love with the place to begin with. From our first trip when I was 3 to our most recent now that I’m 21, I can’t wait to see what it will bring!

6. Never Grow Up
This is another one that I feel like would break up the monochrome looks that I’m always drawn to. Not only does the color attract me but so does the saying and design. Peter Pan is one of my all time favorite Disney characters and reading ‘Never Grow Up’ brings the movie full circle to me. I feel as though when at Disney, we all are back in touch with the kid that still lives inside us, and that is something so special to connect with. Plus I love that the design incorporates little elements from all of the parks and I think this would just be an all around cute t-shirt to pair with high waisted shorts, Mickey ears, and matching peachy/pink sneakers for any day!
Next, I want to highlight some Disney denim that I think is just the absolute cutest! These are probably a little less practical than a simple t-shirt (especially in the hot weather) but still very fashion forward nonetheless!
1. Mickey Embroidered Shorts
Okay, I live, breathe, and DIE for these. They were originally sold from Zara about a year ago and apparently I missed the memo so until recently I thought I had missed my opportunity to ever get my hands on these. But never fear! I’m hear to give you the 411 on where you can get dupes!
There is an etsy shop that is currently selling them and I think that’s totally awesome considering I highly doubt Zara will ever bring them back to market! So check them out and I’m just gonna throw it out there.. 10/10 WOULD recommend for these! They’re high-waisted, perfect for summer, and can be worn either at the parks or on the daily for a quirky spin on a more classic style!
2. Mickey & Minnie Jacket
Okay, I’m not sure if this is even still sold any more but I remember seeing this in the Gap around January and really loving this! I think it’s super cute and although I know it’s hot in Florida, I thought it would be the perfect piece for night time activities or if there was just a random cold day in the forecast. The fact that it’s white denim too makes it so unique and a piece that I would love to add to my wardrobe on any day!
3. Mickey Overall Dress
This was once upon a time made by Lazy Oaf and if you’re lucky, might still be able to find it from second hand sellers! It’s seriously the cutest overall dress that is literally made for the best day at Disney! One of my regrets is not swiping this up as soon as I saw it, but the practical side of myself said.. ‘Britani, are you really going to be running around the parks comfortably in a dress??’ The answer to that question is no. And sadly this was a pretty penny just to get for an Insta pic (:
That being said, I would definitely still recommend! It’s so cute and I love Lazy Oaf as a brand. It would be a piece to add to your wardrobe that is perfectly unique and will add so much fun to any day!
And finally, to end this Disney masterpiece off right, I wanted to show you all some of my favorite ears/hats for the day!
1. Classic Minnie with a Twist
Okay, this is not revolutionary like, at all. But it’s also a staple! I love me a cute pair of ears and these are right up my alley. They are sequined (hallelujah) and can go with seriously any outfit! Other than that, there isn’t much to say!
You can opt for the sequins in a variety of colors (rose gold is a close runner up for me) or maybe just go for Minnie ears without the glitz. Either way, you’ll rock the parks with whatever you chose!
2. Floral Festival on a Headband
These are so so so so so to die for. Especially right now since the Flower and Garden festival is still going on! I feel like these are so special because you get to spice up a simple (or Disney-ed out) outfit in such a unique way!
I love that the ears are hollowed out and the flowers are really what take the stage in these. They come in lots of color combinations and can be co-ordinated with your favorite princess/Disney movie! Pixie Supply Co is the shop I’ve found that I like the best but of course you can find lots of Etsy stores online doing their own version as well! I would have to say these are a show-stopper and a must have when it comes to your next Disney adventure (:
3. Monsters University Always
Because I like to have the option to switch it up a little bit, this is the perfect way for me personally to accomplish that! Despite Peter Pan’s special place in my heart, I also love love love Monsters Inc. and I was so thrilled when Monsters University was released around the same time I was moving on to college.
Either way, this hat is perfect. I get to rep some Pixar, protect my face from the sun, AND look cute while doing it. I feel like this is perfect for a day at Animal Kingdom (or any park, really) when you just want to look a little more dressed down and earthy for the day. That probably doesn’t make a lot of sense to anyone, but to me, I’m getting the vision perfectly. Needless to say, this is another little accessory I had to have for my Disney vacay. Sometimes it’s the little things that go the furthest distance and I think doing something as simple as wearing this hat will really pull together an outfit!
And that about sums up some of the things I think are most necessary when trying to look your best (while also remaining practical) on your next Disney adventure. I know I’ll be sporting most of these things over the week that we’re there so of course, stay tuned for all of the insta pics and story time posts to follow!
What do you guys think about all of these options? Are they overrated or totally necessary? What would you bring in your suitcase for a day in the parks? And most importantly.. which park is your favorite? Mine is Animal Kingdom (: Let me know in the comments below!
And..
Until next time,
xx.Britani Skye
