Hello everyone and Happy Labor Day Weekend! I hope you’re all getting time to enjoy the holiday and recharge your batteries, and for those of us in college, let’s take a hot second to remind ourselves that we’ve made it through the first few weeks already! Score x 1000!
Of course Labor Day is important for a multitude of different reasons, but if you’re looking for one that might satisfy your shop-a-holic tendencies, it’s a great reason for stores to put on sales (and good ones at that)!
I’m listing for you some of the sales I’ve found this year that in my opinion are 100% worth checking out! Let me know in the comments below what sales you’ve been shopping and what you’ve been swiping up, and without further ado, let’s get right into it!
1. Jeffree Star Cosmetics
Starting September 1st to the 3rd at 10am PST, Jeffree is having a ‘Fashion and Accessories Special Event.’ In other words, this means you can swipe up his highly coveted make up bags AND score a free liquid lip in the process!
He is also having select tees and hand mirrors on sale for 25% off as well! And come on.. who doesn’t just adore the fun colors and shapes he’s putting out there?
I know I’ll be eyeballing the holographic items and adding them to my cart asap, I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to help myself.
2. Target
So correct me if I’m wrong, but Target it already mega affordable, right? Well from now until Monday, you can get up to 30% off your purchase!
It’s the perfect time to shop around for some home decor whether it be for the end of summer or the beginning of fall. AND as I mentioned before, for us college kids, swiping up some of these items is a great way to make your dorm feel a little more like home.
I just don’t think you can go wrong here.. cute, trendy, and budget friendly all in one!
3. Sephora
I can count on like three fingers when Sephora does a sale, so taking into consideration one is happening for Labor Day, you just HAVE to take advantage of it while it’s around!
For all beauty insiders, you’ll receive 10% off your purchase, while for VIBs you’ll get 15% and Rouge members will get 20%. Again.. you really CAN’T go wrong with high quality products and money off. You can get this discount both in-store AND online so you have lots of freedom to shop just how YOU like it!
I’ve been working really hard lately to get my skincare under control and you can bet I’ll be checking out the scene for new cleansers, serums, and moisturizers!
4. Lulu’s
Lulu’s is saying goodbye to their summer pieces and saying hello to discounts with an additional 40% off their sale items! Seriously, there are pieces of clothes on the site for like $15. Not to mention the adorable/chic vibes I get from everything available!
You can jump right in to ‘Back to School’ season in style effortlessly without breaking the bank and that’s all a girl could ever really ask for, right?
5. Luca + Grae
Can we give a major thanks to our girl Aspyn Ovard?? Until September 3rd, you can get 25% your entire purchase of Luca + Grae. Yes, you heard that right.
You can shop everything from, cute dresses, classy button downs, simple tees, and cozy sweaters and have peace of mind knowing you’ll be saving some coin too! So shop those ‘in season’ pieces and get ready for the coming months the right way.
Another tip is if you’re on a budget, don’t torture yourself by looking at all of the items on the site, you can separate what you’re seeing based on how much you’re looking to spend! For example, you can look specifically at items under $50 or even $30 so then you know you won’t be tempted when you see that gorgeous dress you ‘just have to have.’
6. thredUP
For those of you that might not know what thredUP is, it’s essentially an online thrift store run by Amazon.
You literally have the world at your fingertips and you can get designer items for mega deals. So despite everything already being cheap, you can get an additional 30% off your entire purchase this weekend with the code ‘VITAMINSEA’
