My 2020 Fall Wardrobe Wishlist

Hello and Happy Friday Everyone!

Do I really need to say it or can we all just acknowledge that this year hasn’t (and probably will continue to not) gone the way we all expected. That being said, I still love clothing and now that it’s officially September, I feel like I have permission to go full blown ‘Fall’. Fall is probably my favorite season of the year for a multitude of reasons of which include it being the season that houses my birth month and then proceeds to seamlessly lead into the best holidays. I mean, hello Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, amiright? I also love that the weather starts to cool and I can more acceptably wear my turtlenecks every single day without getting strange looks. So in honor of my passion for Fall fashion, I compiled a short little wishlist of pieces I would style all Fall long!

1. Zara Z1975 Cropped Wide Leg Jeans

Zara

Okay, first up are these black, cropped, wide leg jeans! Now normally, I’m a strictly skinny jean type of gal, but there is something so chic about this style of jean that I can’t get out of my head. I think that they would make the perfect fall addition to any wardrobe and I can picture them styled with turtlenecks, sweaters, an oversized cardigan, and a variety of different boots/booties.

2. Sezane Micky Jumper

Sezane

I’m sure you’ve picked up on this, but after being to Paris, I’m basically a self-proclaimed Francophile. In one of many of my 2020 ‘I want to go back to Paris’ crises I set out to find Parisian fashion brands that capture the minimalist but undeniably high fashion French style. Across this search I found the brand Sezane and couldn’t be more pleased. This Micky Jumper is the perfect knit jumper to add to your wardrobe and I can quickly see it becoming a staple in mine. While it might be considered basic, I deem it elevated and this jumper would be perfect to create a capsule closet wardrobe if that is your thing!

3. & Other Stories Wool Blend Plaid Blazer

& Other Stories

In my opinion, nothing completes a look like some kind of jacket/blazer and this right here is my Fall dream. Normally, I’m a strictly black, white, and grey kind of girl but this brown blazer speaks to me on so many different levels it isn’t even funny. Throw this over a white t-shirt and your outfit will be taken from day-to-day casual to boss babe in 5 seconds flat. Add some skinny framed sunglasses and boots and you’re basically ready to take on the world.. even in the midst of a pandemic!

4. Dr. Martens ‘Jadon’ Boot

Nordstrom

I’ll vouch for Dr. Martens until the day I die. They are my most worn shoe and I’ve legit had them since I was in high school. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but timeless as well! I think that this specific style of Dr. Martens are special though because they have a little higher of a platform which I think gives even more of an edgy vibe, perfect for the Fall season. AND like I mentioned, you know you won’t be compromising style for comfort so you can stomp around all of the pumpkin patches and corn mazes for hours of fun!

5. Lazy Oaf Peeling Fine Cardigan

Lazy Oaf

I was originally looking for a dress to add to this list, but when I found this cardigan, I knew this was the item that would finish off my 2020 Fall Wishlist. Lazy Oaf is a brand I’ve talked about before and I love it for its undeniably quirky garments. This cardigan is obviously no exception to that quirkiness–somehow I’m getting Danny Zuko, T-birds vibes and I’m so here for it. I think this cardigan paired with a solid turtleneck underneath would be the exact way to bring some personality to your chic look this Fall!

And that concludes my short and sweet little Fall 2020 Wardrobe Wishlist. All of these are pieces that you can mix and match in a million different ways and continue to wear for years to come, justifying the investment some of these items would inevitably be. What are some of your Fall staples/what is on your Fall wishlist? Also, what other Fall inspired content would you guys want to see? I already have an ‘Affordable Ways I’m Decorating my Apartment’ post in mind but let me know in the comments below what you think! I look forward to trying to connect with you all more as this year begins to wind down. And as always..

Until next time,

xx.Britani Skye
